American Blanket Company

For years, we've joked about getting a custom blanket made that actually fit the bed (King size blankets don't really fit King size beds) with plenty to hang over and tuck in. We also needed a solution for "cover stealers" and cold shoulders. I found American Blanket Company through an Internet search, and the reviews convinced me to give their blankets a try. I first measured the mattress and determined the minimum size I needed + overhang and chose the closest size. I purchased the Luster Loft blanket in the 120 x 120 size. I ordered close to Christmas, and I was shocked with how quickly the blanket shipped and delivered. I received it in plenty of time to wrap and get hidden under the tree. Our super soft blanket was a great surprise on Christmas morning, and we washed it and put it on the bed that day. First, it was really easy to wash and dry. Due to size, I rotated it around in the dryer a couple times and ran an extra cycle. We've NEVER had such a soft blanket on the bed. The feel is so luxurious! The blanket is very light but also very warm. We had plenty of overhang on each side and lots to tuck in at the bottom. It's now the end of the first week in January and we haven't pulled this blanket out of place, and I think I am even sleeping better. I'm not waking up any longer with my covers pulled off my shoulder. We are very pleased with this purchase and plan to buy all of our future blankets from this company.

Really great products, customer service, and packaging.. and best of all Made in the USA! Everything I order arrives in perfect condition and is packed very neatly. The blankets are unbelievably soft and warm. I actually fold it in half in the winter so I have a double blanket and then use one layer in the summer. The bath towels and wash cloths are also really great. Very soft and plush but still very absorbent. I will buy them for life. They have held up so well. I would really love a very deep fitted sheet option and a twin sheet option.

Without a doubt, American Blanket Company Luster Loft blankets are the warmest, softest, coziest, most luxurious blankets I have ever owned. I have purchased both throws as well as queen size comforters. I have purchased these for myself and for every member of my extended family. Everybody loves them! I am very glad I discovered this company. Highly, highly recommend!

When my husband mentioned wanting fleece sheets, I thought they didn’t exist. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that American blanket offers a fitted sheet that is wonderful. The sheet stayed in great condition, even after washing, and kept its brand new look and feel. It even seems to have improved with washing! I plan to buy more sheets for all the beds in our house.

Challenged with finding the perfect holiday gift for my teenaged granddaughter, I found American Blanket Co! My main criteria was in the length due her height. I recently purchased one of their 100% cotton chevron weave blankets for my queen size bed. The blanket is amazing! Fits my bed perfectly. Nice and heavy for comfortable sleeping and it's very warm. So far this season, I have yet to need another blanket. The weave is also tight and hasn't snagged so no loose threads after the first wash.

I wish more people knew about this amazing blanket company! I ordered one blanket and it was absolutely beautiful right out of the box. No shedding at all! It’s a nice thick blanket; the kind of thick, high quality blanket that I thought was not made anymore. I am definitely a blanket snob; I think American Blanket Company blankets are way better than any Barefoot Dreams blanket.
